Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- warm water - 1 c
- soft shortening - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make quick rolls:
Add yeast to warm water and mix. Add sugar, salt, egg and shortening and mix. Add 1/2 flour and mix. Add rest of flour and mix. Knead for 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl and cover. Let rise in warm place about 1 hour to double in bulk. Pan rolls and let rise in warm place about 1 hour. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350°. Spray with Pam or brush with melted butter.
