  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/4 c
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • sifted flour

How to make quick coffee cake:

Filling:1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. cinnamon3 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. nuts Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg; stir. Add milk and vanilla and mix. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Put half of mixture in an 8 x 8-inch pan. Put half of filling on top. Add rest of dough. Put rest of filling on top. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
