  • raisins - 1/4 c
  • chopped apples - 2 c

How to make roman apple cake:

Topping:1 Tbsp. melted margarine2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. brown sugar2 tsp. flour1/2 c. nuts1/4 c. raisins Combine sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, shortening, egg and milk. Add apples. Spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle onto batter. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
