How to make refrigerator rolls:

Mix butter, milk, eggs, sugar, salt and cold water together. In another bowl, mix yeast and add warm water together. Then mix the two mixtures and slowly stir in flour. When finished, place dough in a buttered bowl with a damp cloth over top. Place in refrigerator overnight to raise.

Stir dough down in the morning. Divide dough in half. Place half on floured surface. With a rolling pin, roll to about 1/4-inch thick. Brush melted butter over top of dough. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, nuts or raisins on top. Roll as for jelly roll; cut 1/2-inch slices with knife and place on cookie sheet. Let raise. Bake rolls in a 350° oven for 8 minutes. Put powdered sugar icing on while still warm.
