Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- half and half
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- chopped green onion - 1/4 c
- Swiss cheese - 8 oz
- 9-inch frozen pie crust
- slices crisply crumbled cooked bacon - 8 item
How to make quiche lorraine:
Heat oven to 350°. Cut cheese into thin strips and toss with flour. In large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add half and half, onion, bacon, pepper and cheese; mix well. Pour into pastry lined pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted just off center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Main dish, Savory pies.
