  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • cans cherry pie filling - 2 item
  • large Cool Whip - 2 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • vanilla instant pie filling

How to make punch bowl cake:

Mix and bake cake as directed on box. Crumble 1/2 of cake into bottom of punch bowl. Spread 1 can of cherry pie filling and sprinkle pecans and half pineapple. Spread 1 box of Cool Whip over this. Proceed with layering remaining ingredients. To serve, use regular punch bowl dipper or large spoon. Serves 36.
