Ingredients/Components
- cans cherry pie filling - 2 item
- vanilla instant pudding
- jar maraschino cherries - 1 item
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- cans crushed pineapple, drained - 2 oz
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- or 5 sliced bananas - 4 item
- can Cool Whip - 1 oz
How to make punch bowl cake:
Bake cake mix as directed. Let cool. Crumble half the cake into small pieces and place in bottom of punch bowl. Mix pudding with 4 cups milk. Pour 1/2 of pudding over cake in bowl. Add 1 can pie filling (smooth over). Add 1 can pineapple and layer of 1 1/2 cups bananas. Repeat. Crumble cake, add pudding over cake, add pie filling (smooth over), 1 can pineapple and layer of 1 1/2 cups bananas. Top with Cool Whip, cherries and pecans.
