Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- nutmeg - 2 Tbsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- canned pumpkin - 2 c
- butter flavoring - 1 tsp
- allspice - 2 Tbsp
- orange extract - 2 Tbsp
How to make pumpkin spice pound cake:
Heat oven to 325°. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Combine oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Set aside. In another bowl, combine all dry ingredients; set aside. In another bowl, combine pumpkin, water, vanilla, butter flavoring and orange extract. Alternately mix 3 parts flour mixture into 2 parts pumpkin mixture. Mix at low speed until blended. Pour into pans. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 4 hours.
