Pumpkin pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1/3 c
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
- pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- light corn syrup
- pecan halves - 1 c
- mashed pumpkin - 1 c
- volume - 1 unbaked
How to make pumpkin pecan pie:
Pecan Layer:2/3 c. light corn syrup2 eggs, lightly beaten1/2 c. granulated sugar3 Tbsp. melted butter1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1 c. pecan halves For Pumpkin Layer: Combine egg, pumpkin, sugar and pie spice in medium bowl. Spread over bottom of pie shell.For Pecan Layer: Combine corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla in same bowl. Stir in pecans. Spoon over pumpkin layer.
Bake in preheated 350° oven for 50 minutes or until filling is set. Cool on wire rack.
