Ingredients/Components

  • egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
  • solid pack pumpkin - 1 c
  • granulated sugar - 1/3 c
  • pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
  • Spread over bottom of pie shell
  • eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
  • butter or margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • pecan halves - 1 c

How to make pumpkin pecan pie:

Combine egg, pumpkin, sugar and pie spice in a medium bowl. Spread over bottom of pie shell.Pecan Layer:2/3 c. light corn syrup2 eggs, lightly beaten1/2 c. granulated sugar3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1 c. pecan halves Combine corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla in same bowl. Stir in pecans. Spoon over pumpkin layer. Bake in 350° oven for 50 minutes or until filling is set.
