Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 2/3 c
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- can pumpkin - 1 oz
- water - 2/3 c
- flour all-purpose
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- salt
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cloves ground - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
How to make pumpkin nut bread:
Mix shortening and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, pumpkin and water. Blend in flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves. Stir in nuts. Grease bottom only of loaf pan. Pour into pan and bake at 350° for about 1 hour and 10 minutRecipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Quick breads.
