- granulated sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- pumpkin
- shortening - 1/2 c
- walnuts - 1 c
How to make pumpkin cake:
Cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs and pumpkin. Alternate dry ingredients and milk. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Delicious plain or topped with cream cheese frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Vegetables.
