Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- sifted flour - 1 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- slices bread - 8 item
How to make puffy french toast:
Sift together dry ingredients. Blend milk and egg. Add to flour mixture and beat until smooth. Dip bread slices into batter, turning to coat slices evenly. Fry in greased skillet until golden brown on both sides.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Breakfast, Healthy.
