- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter or oleo - 1/2 lb
How to make pound cake:
Cream butter; add sugar gradually, beating all the time. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla and flour gradually. Bake in ungreased tube pan. Start in cold oven. Bake at 300° for 1 hour (approximate).Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
