- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- sticks butter - 2 item
- orange flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make pound cake:
Cream shortening and butter. Add sugar and cream until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, while mixing. Sift baking powder with flour, then add to mixture alternately with milk. Add flavorings and mix.
