Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- sticks margarine - 3 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- large eggs - 5 item
How to make pound cake:
Cream oleo and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat thoroughly. Add baking powder and salt to cake flour. Add flour alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°.Note: For coconut pound cake, add 1 can flaked coconut.
