Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- flavoring - 1 tsp
- eggs add eggs one at a time - 5 item
How to make pound cake:
Cream Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Add salt and flavoring. Add soda to buttermilk and then rotate flour and the buttermilk mixture to the Crisco and sugar mixture. Spray Bundt pan with Pam and bake about 1 hour at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
