- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- vanilla flavoring or vanilla butter and nut flavoring - 1 Tbsp
How to make pound cake:
Cream together margarine and Crisco. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add to mixture alternately with milk. Add flavoring. Bake in a Bundt pan at 300° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
