Ingredients/Components
- large baking potatoes - 6 item
- strips crisp bacon - 8 item
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- chopped mushrooms if desired - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- paprika - 1 item
- parsley for looks - 1 item
- cheese Cheddar works best - 1 item
How to make potato skins:
Bake potatoes, cut in halves. Cook bacon and melt butter while preparing potatoes. Keep oven on. Spoon out potatoes from shells, leaving only enough to keep skin firm. Spoon in 1/2 teaspoon butter, bacon and mushrooms; then top with Cheddar or your chRecipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Potato.
