Potato bacon chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- 1 c - 8 oz
- pepper - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- chopped parsley - 2 tsp
- can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 3/4
- slices bacon - 8 item
- cubed potatoes 2 medium - 2 c
How to make potato bacon chowder:
Cook bacon until crisp. Saute onion in butter. Put all ingredients in a pan, except sour cream. Add crumbled bacon and cook until done. Do not drain potatoes. Add sour cream and let heat 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with crackers.Recipe categories: Low calorie, Soups & stews, Chowders.
