Portuguese potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- slices bread, cubed - 2 item
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- small jar chopped pimentos - 1 item
- to 10 medium Irish potatoes - 8 item
- 1/2 to 2 sticks margarine, melted - 1 item
How to make portuguese potatoes:
Boil potatoes; peel and cube. Put in large casserole dish. Sprinkle cubed cheese over potatoes, then onions, pimentos, parsley, paprika and garlic salt. Arrange bread cubes on top and pour melted margarine over all. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Onions.
