Ingredients/Components
- melted margarine - 1 c
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- potatoes - 8 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- jar chopped pimento, drained - 1 oz
- Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes - 1 lb
- slices bread, cut into small cubes - 2 item
- paprika and garlic salt to taste - 1 item
How to make portuguese potatoes:
Cut potatoes into cubes. Cook in water to cover in saucepan until just tender; drain. Layer potatoes and next 7 ingredients in 9 x 13-inch casserole. Pour margarine over top. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until brown and bubbly. Yield: 8 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Onions.
