Pork tofu
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- oyster sauce - 2 Tbsp
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- minced ginger root - 1 Tbsp
- MSG optional - 1/4 tsp
- green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces - 6 item
- mirin - 2 Tbsp
- whole mushrooms, drained - 2 cans
- thinly sliced pork - 1 lb
- block firm tofu, cubed - 1 item
How to make pork tofu:
Place pork in a 3-quart microwave baking dish. Cover and microwave on High power for 3 minutes. Stir well, cover and microwave 3 more minutes or until pork is cooked. Place tofu, chop suey vegetables, onions, mushrooms and ginger on pork. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over tofu mixture. Cover and microwave on High power for 6 more minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Meat, Pork chop, Pork.
