Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- can chicken broth - 1 oz
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 oz
- clove garlic - 1 item
- sliced mushrooms - 1/4 lb
- chow mein noodles - 1 item
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- stalks celery, sliced diagonally - 3 item
- sirloin steak 3/4-inch thick - 1 lb
- slice fresh ginger root, crushed - 1 item
How to make chinese beef and pea pods:
Cut meat diagonally into very thin slices. Mix 1 tablespoon soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Sprinkle on the meat; toss. Marinate meat 1 hour. Place frozen snow peas in colander; run cold water over peas just until separated. Drain. In large skillet orRecipe categories: Vegetables, Meat, Beef.
