Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/3 c
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • chopped tomatoes - 3 c
  • uncooked long grain rice - 1 c
  • small green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • 1-inch thick pork chops - 4 item
  • red or white pepper - 1/4 tsp

How to make pork chops and spanish rice:

Saute rice in hot oil in a large skillet 3 to 5 minutes until browned. Remove rice and add pork chops to skillet; brown on both sides. Combine rice, tomatoes and next 5 ingredients. Spoon over pork chops. Add water. Cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutes
