Pork chops and spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped tomatoes - 3 c
- uncooked long grain rice - 1 c
- small green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- 1-inch thick pork chops - 4 item
- red or white pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make pork chops and spanish rice:
Saute rice in hot oil in a large skillet 3 to 5 minutes until browned. Remove rice and add pork chops to skillet; brown on both sides. Combine rice, tomatoes and next 5 ingredients. Spoon over pork chops. Add water. Cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutesRecipe categories: Main dish, Pork chop, One Dish meal.
