Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • salt - 1/2 c
  • vegetable oil - 1 pt
  • oregano - 2 Tbsp
  • parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • cans tomato paste - 8 oz
  • basil flakes - 2 Tbsp
  • bay leaves - 6 item
  • green peppers - 2 item
  • onions - 3 lb
  • bushel tomatoes - 1/2 item
  • hot peppers - 3 item

How to make pizza sauce:

Scald tomatoes with chopped onions and peppers. Cook one hour; add pinch of garlic. Add spices, oil, sugar, salt and tomato paste. Cook another hour. Put in hot jars and seal.
