Spaghetti sauce for canning
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- Crisco oil - 1 pt
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- cans tomato paste - 5 oz
- green peppers - 4 item
- onions - 3 lb
- bushel tomatoes - 1/2 item
- hot peppers - 3 item
- bunch garlic - 1 item
How to make spaghetti sauce for canning:
Prepare and make juice out of tomatoes. Put onions, peppers and garlic in blender until it looks like applesauce. Add all ingredients together in large kettle; cook for 45 minutes. Can and seal.Recipe categories: Seasonal, Fall.
