Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 3 c
- Bisquick - 2 c
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- oregano - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
How to make pizza pockets:
Filling: Heat vegetable oil on high for 10 minutes. Brown ground beef. Drain. Add salt, pepper and oregano to taste. Add cheese and tomato sauce. Stir until cheese is melted.Shells: Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms. Beat 20 strokes. Smooth dough into a ball on floured table. Knead 5 times; cut into circles and fill with beef. Fold over and pinch ends with wet finger tips. Brown in hot oil on both sides.
