  • pkg - 1 oz
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vegetable oil - 3 c
  • Bisquick - 2 c
  • ground beef - 1/2 lb
  • oregano - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • small can tomato sauce - 1 item

How to make pizza pockets:

Filling: Heat vegetable oil on high for 10 minutes. Brown ground beef. Drain. Add salt, pepper and oregano to taste. Add cheese and tomato sauce. Stir until cheese is melted.

Shells: Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms. Beat 20 strokes. Smooth dough into a ball on floured table. Knead 5 times; cut into circles and fill with beef. Fold over and pinch ends with wet finger tips. Brown in hot oil on both sides.
