Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- crushed pineapple undrained - 3/4 c
How to make pineapple pound cake:
Combine oil and sugar. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to oil mixture, beating well. Stir in pineapple and vanilla. Pour batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until done. Invert pan.
