Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- oil - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each
- box white cake mix with pudding - 1 item
- fresh or frozen blackberries - 1 c
- fresh or frozen blackberries, crushed - 1/2 c
- black raspberry jello - 1 pkg
How to make blackberry cake:
Combine cake mix, jello, oil and milk; mix until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Fold in the berries, coconut and pecans. Pour into three greased 9-inch round baking pans. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tests done; cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to wire rack.Icing:1/2 c. butter, softened1 lb. powdered sugar4 to 5 Tbsp. milk1/2 c. fresh or frozen blackberries, crushed1/2 c. coconut1/2 c. chopped pecans For icing, cream butter in bowl.
