- salt - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- medium onions - 2 item
- whole cloves - 6 item
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- hard-cooked eggs - 12 item
- distilled white vinegar - 2 c
- mild mustard - 2 Tbsp
How to make pickled eggs:
In a saucepan, blend mustard with a little vinegar. Add remaining vinegar and next 6 ingredients. Cover, heat to boiling, simmering 10 minutes. Cool. Pour over onions and eggs. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
