Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • allspice - 1/4 tsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • white pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • hard-boiled eggs, shelled - 6 item
  • canned beet juice - 3/4 c
  • Rose or blush wine - 1/2 c
  • can small beets, drained - 1 item

How to make pickled eggs:

Place eggs and small beets in large glass jar. Combine remaining ingredients. Heat (do not boil). Pour into jar over eggs and beets. Cool, cover and refrigerate overnight.
