Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
How to make pickled beets:
Bring sugar, water, vinegar and lemon juice to a boil. Add spices in a cloth bag and boil. Add beets and cook 15 minutes. Put into hot jars and seal with hot lids and rings.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Condiments, etc., Salads.
