- sugar - 3 c
- water - 2 c
- box pickling spice - 1 item
- strong vinegar - 2 c
How to make pickled beets:
Wash beets; leave 6 inches of tops. Boil in water until you can remove the skin. Let beets cool; peel off skin. Put beets in boiling mixture for 10 minutes or so. Put beets in jars; pour mixture over beets and seal jars. Process 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Condiments, etc., Salads.
