- cinnamon - 3 Tbsp
- eggs - 8 item
- granulated sugar - 1 lb
- flour - 6 c
- brown sugar - 1 lb
- soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 lb
- sour milk - 1/4 c
- citron - 1/2 lb
How to make pfeffernuesse cookies:
Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, citron and nuts (chopped fine). Dissolve soda in sour milk. Add with flour in which cinnamon has been sifted. Roll in small balls. Bake at 325° until light brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Scandinavian.
