Perfect pound cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 6 item
• vanilla extract - 2 tsp
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• whipping cream - 1/2 pt
• sifted cake flour - 3 c

How to make perfect pound cake:

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; add alternatively whipping cream and flour. Add vanilla. Place cake in tube pan and put in cold oven. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do not open oven doors to peek!
