Peppered steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/2 gal
- chopped onion - 1 c
- black pepper - 2 Tbsp
- beef stew meat - 3 lb
- La Choy soy sauce - 1/2 c
- green peppers, cleaned and chopped medium - 4 item
How to make peppered steak:
Rinse beef and with the flour, flour the beef thoroughly. Place in a roast pan and cover with the 1/2 gallon of water. Add the chopped onion, salt and pepper. In a preheated oven cook for 2 hours at 325° or until the meat is tender. Add the soy sauce and the green peppers; cook another 15 to 20 minutes. This recipe makes its own gravy.
