Pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- green peppers - 4 item
- sirloin tip steak - 2 lb
- medium size onions - 2 item
- margarine or 1/2 c - 1/4 lb
How to make pepper steak:
Cut steak into 1/2-inch strips. Saute in butter. Add spices; stir occasionally. Cook until tender. Chop onions; cut peppers into strips. Add onions, peppers, celery, mushrooms and water. Cover and let simmer for an hour or until tender. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
