Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3 c
- white sugar - 3 c
- celery seed - 2 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- green peppers - 24 item
- onions - 12 item
- green tomatoes - 12 item
How to make pepper relish:
Grind peppers and onions together using medium or fine blade of chopper. Grind tomatoes separately. Pour enough boiling water over peppers and onions to cover. Let stand 5 minutes, then drain off water. Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to a boil, then add tomatoes and peppers. Cook for 10 minutes. Pack in hot jars and seal.
