Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cream or milk - 1/4 c
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make penuche frosting:
In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar and milk; boil 2 minutes or less. Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Frost cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
