Penuche frosting



  • butter - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • cream or milk - 1/4 c
  • confectioners sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make penuche frosting:

In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar and milk; boil 2 minutes or less. Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Frost cake.
