Penuche frosting
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar, packed
- and 2 Tbsp - 1/4 tsp
How to make penuche frosting:
Combine all ingredients except vanilla. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat and beat until lukewarm. Add vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread. If it becomes too thick, add about 1 teaspoon of cream. Icing for 2 layer cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
