Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 1 to
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
How to make penuche frosting:
Stir brown sugar into melted butter. Boil and stir over low heat for 2 minutes. Stir in milk and cool. Stir in 1 3/4 to 2 cups powdered sugar (enough for spreadable consistency). Use on Spice Cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
