Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- shortening, melted - 6 Tbsp
How to make pecan waffles:
Sift dry ingredients and add pecans. Beat egg yolks until light combine with milk and melted shortening and add to dry ingredients, mixing just until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in batter. Bake in hot waffle iron.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Pancakes and waffles, Breakfast.
