Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- egg white - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
How to make pecan puffs:
Beat egg white to a stiff froth. Mix sugar, flour and salt. Add to egg white gradually. Fold in pecans. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in slow oven at 300° for 15 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 2 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
