  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • water - 3/4 c
  • pecans - 1 lb
  • white Karo syrup - 1/4 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1/4 item

How to make pecan pralines:

Combine the first 4 ingredients and bring to a soft boil. Remove from heat and add the oleo and vanilla. Beat until slightly thickened. Add pecans. Beat about 1 minute and drop on wax paper.
