Pecan pralines
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- flour
- pecans - 4 c
- light Karo syrup - 3 Tbsp
- large can evaporated milk - 1 item
- stick butter not oleo - 1 item
How to make pecan pralines:
Toast pecans in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir, then microwave another 2 minutes; stir and microwave another minute. Sift together sugar and flour. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to soft-ball stage boil. Remove from heat. Add pecans and stir. If not hard enough, add 1/4 cup milk and cook again. Drop by teaspoon on wax paper.Note: Makes 30 to 50 pralines. Very good!!!
