Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- coarsely broken pecans - 3 c
- cane sugar - 2 c
How to make pecan pralines:
Combine the sugar, water and vinegar; cook to 236°, stirring occasionally.Remove from fire, add butter and nuts; beat until the mixture starts to thicken. Quickly drop from spoon onto waxed paper, using a second spoon to scrape the patty off. Cool and wrap in waxed paper if it is stored for any length of time.
