- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- buttermilk - 8 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- nuts - 1 c
- hot water - 1 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- prunes - 1 c
How to make prune cake:
Cream the butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs. Add prunes, water and milk. Add flour to mixture to which nuts have been added. Bake in slow oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
