Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- Filling:4 eggs, slightly beaten
- white Karo
- vanilla
- chopped pecans
How to make pecan pie squares:
Filling:4 eggs, slightly beaten1 1/2 c. white Karo1 1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. oleo1 1/2 tsp. vanilla2 1/2 c. chopped pecans Grease bottom and sides of 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking sheet. Beat flour, sugar, oleo and salt in a large mixing bowl in mixer until it resembles coarse crumbs. Press firmly and evenly into pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. While crust is baking, prepare filling. Stir eggs, Karo, sugar, oleo and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread evenly over hot crust. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until set.
