German chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 2 Tbsp
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- pecans - 1 c
- egg yolks, beaten - 2 item
- can coconut - 1 item
- carton whipping cream - 1 item
- bar German chocolate - 1 item
- cooked pie shell - 1 item
How to make german chocolate pie:
Mix egg yolks and milk over medium heat. Add melted and cooled German chocolate. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, 3/4 of coconut, nuts and softened butter. Cool and pour into baked crust.Whip cream and cover entire top of pie. Sprinkle remaining coconut and pecans over whipped cream. Store in refrigerator.
